Beautify L.I. Radio is an evolution of the recently established non-profit, Beautify L.I. Inc, founded by the show’s host, Tim McArthur.

Tim is a media veteran, with over two decades of experience working in radio, television and print, as well as live sports & entertainment. In addition to his deep understanding of audience engagement and large-scale event production, his greatest passion is living in service to others. Raising two boys (to one day become good men who contribute and peacefully coexist in society), Tim is always trying to lead by example, spending his time and energy volunteering in the community and fundraising for worthy causes, whenever possible. Helping others, making people happier, improving processes and generally just “trying to leave the world a bit better than I found it” is the driving force behind Tim’s desire to do more and, as he often says, “food for his soul”. That is where Beautify L.I. stems from.

All of Tim’s life and career experiences, combined with his love and respect for people from all walks of life, make him a relatable, credible and strategic leader for this cause. He is proud to be a representative and a voice for ALL Long Islanders, to lead the charge in finding ways to not just clean up our beautiful island… but to find ways to KEEP it clean. More importantly, through his new show, Beautify L.I. Radio, airing on Tuesdays from 4:30-5:30pm on 103.9FM, Tim’s plan is to bring feel-good content and valuable information to listeners that will help ALL Long Islanders thrive, not just survive.
